One step ahead of establishing the future of education, Dubai Knowledge Park and Dubai International Academic City under TECOM Group have made an announcement to introduce new programs in artificial intelligence, robotics, game development, and creative arts in the 2025 academic year. It is a direct consequence of the Education 33 Strategy to establish Dubai as one of the world’s top education cities by the year 2033.
The new offerings reflect Dubai’s commitment to providing a curriculum that responds to the demands of a tech-driven economy. These academic programmes are tailored to nurture critical skills such as problem-solving, creativity, and digital fluency. The broader goal is to build a skilled workforce that contributes to the emirate’s growing innovation ecosystem.
Implementing scholarships and funding as the driving force, Amity University Dubai has offered a maximum of 50 percent scholarship and an additional 30 percent bursary on fees as it also indicates being fully accredited by the Commission for Academic Accreditation. At the individual level, MAHE Dubai is launching new courses in computer science, fintech, and media, apart from providing up to 30 percent scholarship for undergraduate and 10 percent scholarship for postgraduates.
University of Birmingham Dubai is launching AI and robotics undergraduate and postgraduate degree with 30% to 50% scholarships. University of Wollongong in Dubai has extended the scholarship to 50% with industry orientation and sustainability as per perspective. Murdoch University Dubai is launching BSc in Games Design & Development with merit-based scholarships up to a value of 40%.
