The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) has informed that Romnish Kapoor has been appointed as Regional Sales Manager of the Middle East North Africa (MENA) Region in the organization.
Based in Dubai, Kapoor will support NFPA’s work in promoting fire, electrical and life safety, and reducing losses caused by fire. He will lead business development efforts, expand customer relationships, and help organisations improve fire and life safety through NFPA’s internationally recognised standards, training and certifications.
The appointment reflects NFPA’s continued investment in the MENA region, where demand for fire and life safety expertise is rising amid major development and infrastructure growth.
Mike Brunzell, NFPA vice president of Global Business Development, said the Middle East and North Africa remained a strategic priority for the organisation, adding that the team was pleased to welcome Kapoor. He said Kapoor’s extensive experience working with customers, regulators and industry leaders across the region would help NFPA continue delivering knowledge and solutions that support safer communities and resilient infrastructure.
Kapoor brings more than two decades of experience in fire and life safety, testing, inspection and certification, regulatory compliance, and business development. He most recently held commercial leadership roles at UL Solutions, where he led regional sales and account growth initiatives across the Middle East and Africa. Throughout his career, he has worked closely with manufacturers, contractors, government authorities and industry stakeholders to advance safety and market development across emerging markets.
NFPA has worked in the MENA region for decades, helping governments and industry advance fire and life safety through codes, training, research and public education.
