Background :

Mitrade, a CFD trading platform, has renewed its partnership with the Argentine Football Association, home to the three-time FIFA World Cup 26 champions, taking the tie-up into 2027.

The move comes as the 2026 tournament pulled strong attention across the Middle East, with Mitrade calling the renewal a reflection of its ties to its user community.

The tournament has fueled demand for home entertainment as fans follow the matches, with the region’s young and digitally connected population making it a natural market for the platform. The Middle East’s growing enthusiasm for football has developed alongside rising participation in financial markets.

Combined market capitalisation of companies listed on the Dubai Financial Market crossed Dh1 trillion for the first time in June, while its benchmark index climbed past 6,000 points. Average daily turnover also rose 56 percent year on year earlier this year, pointing to stronger trader activity across the region.

Kevin Lai, VP of Mitrade Group, said the company builds itself around the people who use it, staying close to what matters to them, and added that renewing the AFA partnership reflects Mitrade’s commitment to engaging with the communities it serves while strengthening its long-term presence in the Middle East.

Mitrade drew a parallel between football and trading, noting both demand preparation, discipline, risk management and the ability to act at the right moment, framing the AFA partnership as part of its broader commitment to the region.
