Background

Australian luxury motor yacht builder Maritimo has appointed KJM Marine as its exclusive dealer across the GCC and selected markets in the Middle East and the Indian Ocean, expanding its presence in a region where demand for long-range cruising yachts continues to grow.

Under the agreement, KJM Marine will represent the brand in Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the UAE, as well as Egypt, Lebanon, the Maldives, Mauritius and the Seychelles. The company will handle sales, customer support and after-sales services across these markets.

Maritimo said the partnership reflects rising interest in long-range motor yachts among buyers looking for offshore capability, reliability and comfort. KJM Marine brings more than 15 years of experience in the regional luxury yacht market and operates its own technical team and service facility to manage commissioning, maintenance and warranty support.

Maritimo Global Business Development Manager Derrick Nowak said the company selected KJM Marine because of its strong market knowledge, customer-focused approach and experience in serving yacht owners across the region. He added that the dealer’s mobile sales model, which allows it to meet clients at their preferred locations, matches Maritimo’s customer-first approach.

KJM Marine will market Maritimo’s complete range of luxury motor yachts, including the M-Series Flybridge, S-Series Sedan and Offshore Series models. The yachts are built in Australia and designed for long-distance cruising, with features aimed at improving comfort in warmer climates.

KJM Marine Chief Executive Officer Mohammad Aljasmi said the Maritimo brand already enjoys recognition among experienced yacht owners in the region. He added that growing numbers of residents and international visitors are expected to create further opportunities for the luxury yacht market across the GCC and nearby island destinations.
