Bahri Logistics, a unit of Saudi shipping company Bahri, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Red Sea Global to expand their existing partnership and explore new logistics opportunities.
The agreement will focus on developing integrated logistics solutions for Red Sea Global’s projects and operations. The company is developing The Red Sea and Amaala tourism destinations in Saudi Arabia.
Red Sea Global already works with Bahri Logistics. The new agreement aims to build on this relationship by creating wider cooperation in areas such as transportation, storage and other supply chain services.
Bahri Logistics said the partnership will help it better support Red Sea Global as its operations grow. The collaboration also supports the companies’ long-term plans and Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 goals.
The MoU was signed during the launch of Bahri Logistics’ new Bonded Zone at Jeddah Islamic Port. The facility offers bonded storage, customs support and other logistics services.
The new logistics hub is expected to help companies manage complex supply chains more efficiently. It will support the movement, storage and processing of goods while giving customers greater flexibility in reaching markets within Saudi Arabia and the wider region.
Bahri Logistics Vice President Mohammed Alsinan said the company plans to use its logistics expertise and infrastructure to develop solutions based on Red Sea Global’s changing requirements.
Red Sea Global Group Chief Environment and Sustainability Officer Raed Albasseet said reliable logistics will be important as the company develops and operates its tourism destinations on a larger scale.
The partnership also supports Saudi Arabia’s National Transport and Logistics Strategy. It aims to strengthen logistics infrastructure, improve trade and make supply chains more efficient and resilient.
