Background
Saudi Wood Expo will return for its third edition from the end of August to the beginning of September at the Riyadh Front Exhibition and Conference Center. The event will bring together more than 200 exhibitors from over 20 countries to support Saudi Arabia’s growing wood and construction industries.
Organised by dmg events and held alongside Big 5 Construct Saudi and Saudi Industrial Expo, the exhibition will connect manufacturers, suppliers, architects, designers and contractors with buyers and industry decision-makers.
The organisers said the event comes as Saudi Arabia continues to expand residential, commercial, hospitality and mixed-use projects under Vision 2030. This has increased demand for wood products, woodworking machinery and manufacturing solutions. The Kingdom’s wood market is expected to reach $4.1 billion.
The exhibition will showcase more than 3,500 products and solutions, including timber, wood composites, laminates, flooring, doors, windows, woodworking machinery, power tools, coatings and digital solutions. Exhibitors include Salco Laminates Industry, Kastamonu Entegre, Desert Board, Unilam Wood Industry, Ilim Timber, Cyprus Forest Industries, Freud SpA, Tan Timber and Al Arak Wooden Manufacturing.
Visitors will also be able to explore displays focused on wood craftsmanship, design applications and international wood materials.
Muhammed Kazi, Senior Vice President of dmg events, said the exhibition will help strengthen business relationships and support the development of Saudi Arabia’s wood sector. He added that the event supports the Kingdom’s industrial growth and economic diversification goals.
The organisers also said the growing use of sustainable and certified wood products is driving changes across the country’s construction supply chain.
